As two Duke graduate students motivated to find answers to the world's most pressing questions, we spent our graduate years harnessing AI as a transformative research tool to streamline data analysis, expand our capacity, and complement our studies across public health and policy. In doing so, we realized that while AI reshaped how we work, most organizations lacked the tools to harness it in the same way. Threshold is our answer to that gap.

CO-FOUNDER & CEO
With an MSc in Global Health from Duke University, Lexi has spent her career working at the intersection of emergency care, health systems, and policy in low- and middle-income settings. A published author and award-winning presenter, she specializes in mixed-methods research, scientific writing, and evidence dissemination, bringing both quantitative and qualitative depth to complex problems. At Threshold, she applies that foundation to deliver research and analysis that is accessible and built to drive meaningful change.

Izzy Bailey
CO-FOUNDER & COO
As a Master of Public Policy candidate at Duke University's Sanford School of Public Policy, Izzy specializes in labor market analysis, workforce development, and economic opportunity policy. Drawing on experience across federal and state government, she brings expertise in strategic planning, evidence-based decision-making, and translating research and data into actionable steps that strengthen workforce systems and support long-term economic growth.
